Can i use the laptop with lower wattage charger?

Usually it will work, but it may not charge the battery or slower when in use. Plus the charger will overheat. Better to charge your laptop only when shut down. By using a charger with lower wattage than required, you will reduce the laptop power. Under normal usage condition (checking email, surfing the web) light tasks, the battery would get hot, but the laptop would perform normally. If you did any CPU intensive tasks the laptop would turn off, depended on how long you ran the tasks for.

Can i use the laptop with higher wattage charger?

Watts is calculated by multiplying the Volts by the Amps. Therefore a 19V charger with an Amps rating of 3.42A would be a 65W charger 19V x 3.42A = 65W. The higher the Amps the higher the Watts, provided the Voltage remains constant.Using a higher wattage charger is safe. This is because the Laptop is designed in such a way as there is the maximum power that can be drawn by the system. A higher wattage charger can supply this power easily and hence you will not run into any issues.

Can i use a higher or lower voltage (V) charger on my laptop?

The voltage is not a variable. It must be the one required by the laptop and its fixed. A 19V laptop needs 19V charger. If the voltage is significantly higher than the laptop is specified voltage, it can damage the internal components, potentially leading to overheating, malfunction, or even permanent damage. A charger with a lower voltage may not provide enough power to charge the laptop effectively. This can lead to slow charging or the laptop discharging even while plugged in. In some cases, the laptop may throttle performance to conserve power or may not function properly without adequate power supply.

Can i use a charger with different amperage (A) rating?

it is generally safe to use a charger with a different amperage rating, as long as the amperage of the charger is equal to or greater than laptop required amperage. The amperage (measured in amps) of the charger indicates the maximum current it can supply. If the charger has a higher amperage rating than the laptop requires, the laptop will only draw the amount of current it needs. For example, if a laptop requires 3.42A and you use a charger rated for 4.42A, the laptop will still only draw 3.42A. If you use a charger with a lower amperage rating than what the laptop requires, it may not provide enough power, which can lead to slow charging plus the charger will overheat.

Replaced the charger but the laptop still does not work?

If your laptop is still running on battery, it may be a software or hardware (Battery, Dc jack or Motherboard) problem. If your laptop does not turn on at all, then it is a hardware problem. Have it repaired by us, for repair your laptop by an experienced repairer at a low price.
